I’m Jess, designer, illustrator, writer and founder of Second Leaf Studio. I specialise in working with food, nature, wellness and lifestyle brands and over the course of my career have collaborated with household names such as Costa Coffee, the National Trust, the RHS, Clipper Tea, Champneys and Laura Ashley, and developed styling, brand assets and product ranges for retailers such as Boots, Next, Dobbies, Fat Face and Tesco.
As a small business owner myself, I'm passionate about helping your business grow through considered branding, guiding you through every stage of the creative journey. I love combining typography, graphics, patterns and collage, taking concepts from early mood boards to cohesive visual assets that tell a story and connect with audiences.
Second Leaf refers to the ‘true’ leaves a plant grows once it’s ready to become itself. It's also a play on words for a second page or chapter and is a metaphor for change and new beginnings - in life and in business.
