I’m Jess, designer, illustrator, writer and founder of Second Leaf Studio. I specialise in working with lifestyle brands and over the course of my career have collaborated with household names such as Costa Coffee, the National Trust, the RHS and Champneys, and developed styling, brand assets and product ranges for retailers such as Boots, Next, Dobbies and Tesco.
As a small business owner myself, I'm passionate about helping your business grow through considered branding and design. I love combining drawn and painted elements, typography, patterns and collage, taking concepts from early mood boards to cohesive visual assets that tell a story and connect with your audience.
Second Leaf refers to the ‘true’ leaves a plant grows once it’s ready to become itself. It's also a play on words for a second page or chapter and is a metaphor for change and new beginnings - in life and in business.
